NITROCELLULOSE LACQUER FINISH



Traditionally used by leading instrument makers up until the late 60’s when the main issue developed into a time is money principal & over-road quality vs. quantity. It is the ultimate in instrument finishes. Nitrocellulose Lacquer is a delicately applied finish that is sprayed on in ultra thin coats, carefully sanded in between to level and protect the wood from elements & to enhance tone and beauty. There is no other finish that comes close to it, for it’s tone, feel & looks as the vintage instruments have proven.

I can basically duplicate any top & color of sunbursts. “The Beauty of the Burst” is a great resource book.
